(877)561-0643 Fake Technical Support Telephone Number

I just had a pop up in chrome asking me to call the telephone number (877) 561-0643 for support. The pop-up displayed the following message: "Microsoft Technical Support -Google Chrome Critical Error." But, since I know Microsoft or other tech online companies do not display popups asking their customers to call a technical support number, I knew it was a scam.
