410 Area Code Scam Calls from Cybercriminals

For the past few months, I have received a lot of scam calls from area code 410 telephone numbers. Most of the scam calls were social security, technical support, and banking scams. The scammers' aims were to trick me into giving them remote access to my computer or trick me into calling a fake banking number where I will be asked for banking credentials and other sensitive information.

Here is a list of 410 area code telephone numbers that I have received calls from:

  • 1-410-200-5000
  • 1-410-000-0001
  • 1(410)100-0003
  • 1(410)100-008
  • 1(410)100-068
  • 1 410)200-526
  • 1-410-514-3098

If you were tricked into giving remote access to your computer, please disconnect your computer from the internet and ask a tech-savvy person to scan your computer for malware or spyware. And, if you were tricked into calling a fake banking telephone number and have disclosed your banking information, report it to your bank.
