I went on my bank account today and noticed they took money out of my account even though I didn’t accept the terms. Pathetic. The money they have made for who goodness knows how long, has gone directly into their pockets and would have continued had not I saw their advert for my book on their site. I filed a copyright infringement alert through the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act). This international treaty criminalized the infringement of copyrighted materials sold for profit. it was IMMEDIATELY TAKEN DOWN, according to my DMCA response. And I can not see my book anymore on their site.But what to do now? How much did they illegally make off my intellectual property with proof of their misdeed--a simple screenshot of my work on their website for sale? How long was it up selling? This type of scamming is presently in the favor of the scammer. There is so far no justice for these lowest of cowardly thieves.
