705-716-4812 Telephone Scam Calls

Hello, I received 2 calls in one day from telephone number 705-716-4812. The caller was very aggressive and arrogant. Also got "Canadian Treasury" auto message to warn me that if I don't return the call I will have to appear in front of a magistrate judge or grand jury for a federal criminal offense. The message threatens that it is the final attempt to reach me but unfortunately continues to leave voicemails, despite me blocking the number.

I just received threat call from 705-716-4812...claiming multiple previous contact attempts.

Googled the # and here we are.

Have blocked the #, any advice from y'all will be much appreciated.

We must spread / share threat.

well, apparently I have made some mistakes over the last few years on my income tax and now there is a warrant out for my arrest. I calmly said why is there a warrant, I'm willing to pay I just need to know where I made the mistake on the forms and I will pay you. They keep hanging up. I would like to know a good way to prevent these people from taking advantage of people like my mother... it is sad they prey on the elderly and immigrants who don't know how the CRA works.

I got two calls over the last two days. I just retired from an Ontario police service. If they want money I can certainly meet them at my former police station to make payment. LOL.
