Hello, I received 2 calls in one day from telephone number 705-716-4812. The caller was very aggressive and arrogant. Also got "Canadian Treasury" auto message to warn me that if I don't return the call I will have to appear in front of a magistrate judge or grand jury for a federal criminal offense. The message threatens that it is the final attempt to reach me but unfortunately continues to leave voicemails, despite me blocking the number.

I would like to know a good way to prevent these people from taking advantage of people like my mother... it is sad they prey on the elderly and immigrants who don't know how the CRA works.

They are fraud. There is very good documentary available on Youtube to expose these people. Who are these people and how are they doing fraud in the name of CRA while taking money from people. Never provide your information to them but first ask them, which number they are calling for, can they provide your number name or address etc. You will immediately learn that they are fake people.

Indicated that the RCMP has issued a WARRANT for Arrest to the business associated with this spoofed number... original IP address is from India... so they hung up very quickly and I have not received another call from them and it has been 5 days now... they had previously called me 3 to 4 times a day..
