Do not call telephone number 661-689-3383 because people are receiving fake AT&T "Unauthorized payment" text messages like the one below asking them to call the same number. The fake messages are being sent by scammers who are attempting to steal their potential victims' money, financial, and personal information. Therefore, recipients are asked to delete the messages.

    The number at the top of text:


    (City, State listed as unknown)

    The message was:


    SUBJ:Unsuccessful payment.Call 6616893383.


    The phone in the text was:

    6616893383 (listed as Porterville, CA)

    I blocked both numbers and deleted the text.

    Thank you."
