The fake Wells Fargo Online text message below from 415 301 5025 is a scam. The fake text, which claims the recipients should contact Wells Fargo, is being sent by scammers. The scammers' aim is to trick their potential victims into calling them at the fake Wells Fargo telephone in the text.

If potential victims call 415 301 5025, they will contact the scammers, who will pretend to be Wells Fargo customer service. They will attempt to convince their potential victims into giving them their account credentials, personal and financial information, which they will use fradulently.

Got a text from: 806 217-9500 Wellsonline - saying I was charged 54.76 for some travel deal... said to call if this was not me. I called and got an automated system asking for my '9 digit security number.' Well - that's my social security number far as I can tell. I let it run through 3 times because usually an agent will come on but it just kept repeating. I did not give the any info. I wish these could be STOPPED as they are very annoying!

The Wells Fargo telephone scam is also a Chase bank scam: 415-301-5025. Stupid crooks. 😂
