Is PayPal Thanks for Confirming Your Phone Number a Scam?

The PayPal SMS text message below that thank me for confirming my phone number and ask me to click a link to log in or get the app, does not appear to be a scam. The link in the text goes to PayPal's website at paypal.com. Also, the link's URL shorter website, py.pl, has been around since 2004 and is registered by PayPal PTE LTD.

Since I never did give him my phone number anything there's no way they can have it so it's got to be a scam or some kind because a bunch of idiots that's a good video
