If you have received the text scam below claiming you have sent money to Limas Holdings and asks you to call telephone number +61-1800-845-013 to dispute, please don't. The fake text, which claims the recipient sent money from his/her PayPal account to Holdings Ltd, is being sent by scammers who are attempting to trick their potential victims into calling them at the fake PayPal customer service or support telephone number.

When you receive a message claim a transaction was made from your PayPal account, alway go directly to www.paypal.com, sign into your account and check your transaction history. If the transaction is not listed in your account, it means the messages may be a scam.

HI all, like many others here I got the scam message about Lima Holdings, from 1800 749 194. Interestingly you can keep calling them and they can't / won't block you. I have called them 427 times in a row. They HATE it. Check to see if your phone plan has unlimited calls, and if you are bored and on a day off like me, annoy scammers for an hour or two. While you are wasting their time, they are not able to scam victims. Obviously put your phone on 'private' so your number is not displayed and never ever give any personal details. Or give them misinformation like me. Enjoy.

Like the thread advises, don't call the 1800 number. Its a total scam.
I already knew it was a scam but was curious to were this number Leads.
So I called....basically it's a person pretending to be from PayPal. Their main goal is to get you to tell them your login details which technically they should not need if they're genuinely from PayPal. So just be careful because once they have that information,they can get into your account and have access to all yr banking details.
