The PayPal Money Request scam emails below, which claim recipients sent a payment and if the transaction is unauthorized, they should call a fake PayPal customer support telephone, is being sent by scammers. The aim of the scammers is to trick potential victims into calling them at the fake PayPal customer support telephone number. If contacted, the scammers will pretend to be PayPal customer support representatives and attempt to trick potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal and financial information, which they will use fraudulently.
