  • June 30, 2022 at 9:09 AM by an anonymous user from: E2, London, England, United Kingdom

Poor Simon has been trying for about 3 months to deliver my imaginary parcel. No-one answers the door when he's been despite me working at home and that my dog would have barked like crazy. If these people put half as much effort into finding a proper job rather than scamming folks that are struggling as it is then the world would be a much better place. Absolute a*******s.

  • June 15, 2022 at 3:10 PM by an anonymous user from: Reading, England, United Kingdom

Just had this happen to me today, was expecting a package and gave my name, address, email, date of birth and phone number before stopping myself going further. Really worried now about what will happen with that information they've been given though, has anyone else gave information and anything happen to them?

  • June 8, 2022 at 8:25 AM by an anonymous user

Just had a text from local depot 23 .com saying failed delivery. Strange thing is I was waiting for a delivery in the exact same time slot. Very coincidental. I clicked on the link as a result but nothing happened (wouldn’t have given details anyway). Phoned the co I was waiting for snd they said they hadn’t been yet. Ally

received a text from 447845010373 purporting to be NHS contact and trace and to order a test kit from nhs.local-depot-help.com. The NHS stopped contact and trace last year!

Googled the address and ended up on this site. Welcome to another scam.

  • June 2, 2022 at 5:34 PM by an anonymous user from: E2, London, England, United Kingdom

I received text and link mentioned local-depot28.com

  • May 31, 2022 at 2:32 AM by an anonymous user from: Reading, England, United Kingdom

We got scammed out of our entire bank account last night. We received the text and my husband completed the form but then thought better of it and cancelled his card. A few days later they rang saying they were the bank calling to stop fraud on our account, make a new one, move the money there to keep it save. Very convincing. But the phone number is one digit different from the bank’s number.

Now we are waiting to see if we can get our £3000 back.

Various links/versions of this- they tried again this morning to get my savings. Beware! If anyone calls you just find the official number and ring back if you are not sure.

  • May 29, 2022 at 12:47 AM by an anonymous user from: Small Heath, Birmingham, England, United Kingdom

    1) Real postmen leave an A5 card with instructions on how to schedule redelivery

    2) Your postman doesn’t have your mobile number 😂

    3) Wouldn’t message you in the middle of the night

    4) Royal Mail definitely not advanced enough to have separate website names for each depot (“depot 25”)

    5) If your parcel had been returned to depot 25, why would you need to enter your address to find out which depot is your local one?

6)I know my postman & he’s Paul not Jamie

    TOTALLY OBVIOUS SCAM!

  • May 20, 2022 at 3:49 AM by an anonymous user from: Greater London, England, United Kingdom

The problem I had was there is a parcel due today, I got to the part where it asked me to pay for redelivery and I was like hmmm bit suspect that, I think it was just coincidence that scammers text me on the same day. I’ll find out when I get home they should of left a card if it’s legit but I did leave instructions on where to leave the parcel. Also I gave the scammers a fake d.o.b as it said they needed my D.O.B to check I’m over 18 so I just made sure it was over 18 as I felt un easy giving any info about myself as these dodgy messages go around a lot and I’m glad I did now. The only thing they do have is my name and address and work number but I don’t think they can do much with that other than ring me up pretending to be someone which I won’t fall for anyway

    • May 31, 2022 at 2:42 AM by an anonymous user from: Reading, England, United Kingdom

  • May 1, 2022 at 11:22 AM by an anonymous user from: E2, London, England, United Kingdom

He’s been busy in Blackburn, Lancashire today. I’ve had loads of parcels the last few days, and been out most of today too. So the text was not out the ordinary. I stupidly went through to payments, then the penny dropped. I didn’t add my bank details but then googled it. My husband has called me a b****y numpty as it’s Sunday so why would they deliver today! 🤨

  • May 1, 2022 at 5:15 AM by an anonymous user from: Sheffield, England, United Kingdom

Simon sent me a text in the middle of the night, claiming to have tried to deliver a parcel, and saying no-one was in!

I was suspicious, so I Googled his link on another device and a Royal Mail website appeared. When I was asked for a £1.20 Redelivery fee, and asked to provide my card details, I realized it was definitely a scam, and of course did not do any such thing.

I have reported it via the legitimate Royal Mail website as a scam.

Very unimaginative of them to use Simple 'Simon' all the time. He must be a very busy fellow.

    Harrow area.

  • April 1, 2022 at 7:32 AM by an anonymous user from: Hatfield, England, United Kingdom

I got the same message at 6.40 in morning from Kevin, I have epilepsy and didn’t know what was going on, I did think it was crazy that Royal Mail done that,

  • April 1, 2022 at 4:19 AM by an anonymous user from: Salford, England, United Kingdom

    Got a text as below:

"Kevin attempted to deliver your parcel today but no one was home. Reschedule the delivery via hxxps://parcel-deposit-gb.com"

    Have blocked the number.

  • April 1, 2022 at 4:00 AM by an anonymous user from: City of London, London, England, United Kingdom

I work nights and just woke up to this message also. In a panic and still half asleep I automatically entered my details as I'm expecting an important parcel today only to see its a scam! I didn't put in my card details so I'm hoping they don't use my other details.

    • June 15, 2022 at 3:08 PM by an anonymous user from: Reading, England, United Kingdom

Did anything happen as a follow up?

  • April 1, 2022 at 1:50 AM by an anonymous user from: City of London, London, England, United Kingdom

I also got the same text from "Kevin".

  • March 31, 2022 at 5:48 PM by an anonymous user from: Augusta, Georgia, United States

"Kevin" has been busy, like a demented but industrious little beaver. Also in Northern Ireland, received text today.

  • March 31, 2022 at 4:42 AM by an anonymous user from: E2, London, England, United Kingdom

07840840100 is the number the scammers are using today "Kevin" attempted delivery.

    • March 31, 2022 at 3:13 PM by an anonymous user from: E2, London, England, United Kingdom

they are also using 07840838583, also appears to be "kevin"

  • March 31, 2022 at 4:41 AM by an anonymous user from: E2, London, England, United Kingdom

I got one this morning, "kevin" attempted to deliver. The worst thing is in my area delivery drivers regularly lie about trying to save time on their route and I am expecting a parcel force delivery today, so stupidly I entered my postcode, name, telephone, email and address on their scam website... Someone in Royalmail/Parcelforce is leaking the information to the scammers... lovely...

    • April 1, 2022 at 6:52 AM by an anonymous user from: WC2, London, England, United Kingdom

I thought I was alert to scams...but was expecting a delivery, today 1st April I also entered name, postcode, address and I think, email, next page asked for DOB and mobile I realised NO!

Checked text again, after checking up scams online, Kevin attempted to deliver...00.04. Didn't notice time before! Stupid. Like person above I hope my name address etc is safe from now on. Must now be alert to more scam rubbish... I also agree that the link / leak is so tied in to the organisation that is legit eg Royal Mail, Nhs vaccine website etc. that the government Must get sorted out the scam corridor provided by these bona fida organisations' lack of security.

  • March 31, 2022 at 4:25 AM by an anonymous user from: City of London, London, England, United Kingdom

The one I received this morning at 06:13 (who is going to believe that the Post Office tried to deliver at that time of day?!) had a link to https://parcel-depot-gb.com

  • March 31, 2022 at 3:08 AM by an anonymous user from: Digbeth, Birmingham, England, United Kingdom

I have just literally got sent the 'Kevin attempted to deliver your parcel today but no one was home. Reschedule the delivery via: https://postoffice-depot-gb.com' text sent at 08:59.

Seeing as I'm sitting 5ft away from the front door I knew it was a load of b*llocks!

  • March 30, 2022 at 3:36 AM by an anonymous user from: E2, London, England, United Kingdom

I got one this morning, and confirmed with Royal Mail that it's a scam 'Kevin attempted to deliver your parcel today but no one was home. Reschedule the delivery via: https://postoffice-depot-gb.com' sent at 03:39!

  • March 26, 2022 at 3:15 PM by an anonymous user from: Thornliebank, Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom

Poor old Simon had to lug our parcel up 4 flights of stairs only to find we weren't in! Poor guy.

Hope he has a safe journey from Glasgow to wherever his next delivery is. I've heard travelling at the speed of sound can put a real strain on the ol' back.

  • March 26, 2022 at 11:01 AM by an anonymous user from: E2, London, England, United Kingdom

apparently, Simon is the new Santa, can make multiple deliveries at 7.12 everywhere

  • March 26, 2022 at 10:42 AM by an anonymous user from: Digbeth, Birmingham, England, United Kingdom

At 7.12 am I was told by text message from these people that 'Simon' had attempted to deliver a parcel 'today' but no-one was at home. Who tries to deliver parcels before 7.12 am? Incompetent lot!

  • March 26, 2022 at 9:25 AM by an anonymous user from: Almondsbury, Bristol, England, United Kingdom

Gosh, I cant keep up with Simon, he was in Bristol yesterday trying to deliver my parcel. I have a ring door bell which I checked and funnily enough he never rang it.

  • March 26, 2022 at 8:01 AM by an anonymous user from: Sheffield, England, United Kingdom

Also Simon has been in Kent on 26th March! Also expecting parcel via Royal Mail so strongly suspect access to Royal Mail delivery information.

    • April 24, 2022 at 12:58 AM by an anonymous user from: Burntisland, Scotland, United Kingdom

Simon was in Devon at 3:20 this morning. Our local postman wouldn’t be working then!

    • March 26, 2022 at 9:54 AM by an anonymous user from: City of London, London, England, United Kingdom

He tried to come to this part of Kent today too.

  • March 26, 2022 at 6:57 AM by an anonymous user from: City of London, London, England, United Kingdom

That Simon gets around! Apparently he tried to deliver a package to me in Suffolk yesterday 25th March but I wasn't in. Funny that! I was home all day.

Even more concerning is the fact that I was expecting a large pallet delivery yesterday so is this just a coincidence or is someone accessing delivery information?

  • March 25, 2022 at 9:13 PM by an anonymous user from: Cadishead, Manchester, England, United Kingdom

Simon attempted to deliver your parcel today but no one was home. To reschedule - http//local-depot-gb.co.uk

  • March 25, 2022 at 5:22 PM by an anonymous user from: Ossendorf, Cologne, North-Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Simon was not able to read the notice on my front door "leave all parcels in porch"... and my elderly always-home neighbours did not have him at their door either... north of Scotland, so a very far-travelled lad. Hope his bosses are giving him enough of a petrol allowance!

    • March 26, 2022 at 12:57 AM by an anonymous user from: Cadishead, Manchester, England, United Kingdom

Oh Simon has been busy today he traveled from the north of Scotland right the way down to me in the west midlands and I never even heard him ring my bell!

    • March 25, 2022 at 8:52 PM by an anonymous user from: City of London, London, England, United Kingdom

Simon has also been in Southport UK today - he's a busy lad!

Number was 447719055257 - I am expecting a parcel but was also very wary as I hadn't had the normal text advising delivery time. I put in a fake postcode out of curiosity... it goes to a very convincing website. I can see how easy it would be to fall for this scam (and I'm a really cynical old cow)

Kieran is using another new number today ... 07871765478. I am expecting a delivery from Royal Mail today, however the warning bells was the reference to 'due to the coronavirus pandemic we're not leaving calling cards'. False, I've definitely had calling cards left and why that would make any difference when they're handling your actual letters & packages!

"Kieran tried to deliver your shipment today, but no one was home. To re-organise a new date for this, please visit: https://local-depot-gb.com"

The use of "shipment" and "re-organise" are American terms not English, which suggest those doing this are using a template and inserting the name Kieran. It is likely they are non-native English speakers because they haven't noticed these subtleties of language.

  • March 17, 2022 at 5:30 AM by an anonymous user from: Reading, England, United Kingdom

It's funny you should say that. I had a "Kieran tried to deliver your shipment today (etc)" text today with the local-depot-gb link. That text arrived precisely one minute after the Hermes app updated a delivery I was expecting today. I have screenshots of both the text and the Hermes app update as proof of this, and my suspicions were aroused that someone working for Hermes may well have 'skin in the game' of this scam. I did follow the link - luckily, because my suspicions were aroused, I did nothing more than give my postcode. Up came details of local post offices. I realise this was to make it all more legitimate, but there's a lot of thought being given to this scam. I stopped at that point, so no further details given, and I hadn't progressed far enough for there to be any requests for payment. Luckily my Hermes package has just arrived, so that's a relief - but I think this does need investigating further. Hermes are trying to rebadge themselves because of all the negative feedback from their delivery service, but they need to root out how they are being drawn into this scam.

Around 9am today I received my Ikea parcel delivered by DPD, and was forwarned by Ikea that the driver was named Alex. He logged the delivery as I answered the door, and then within a minute I received a text from a random modible number saying that "Kieran tried to deliver your shipment today, but no one was home. To re-organise a new date for this, please visit:(a link to local-depot-gb.com)".

An hour later, another poorly formatted text from a different mobile number arrived: "Post Office:Failed delivery attempt on the 17/03/22.Your parcel has been redirected to your local branch,To reschedule via (link to po-local-branchs.com)"

Kieran is busy. He tried to deliver a package to me in the East Midlands, England, this morning 17/3/22. And I genuinely wasn't home!

I'm impressed with his work rate - if not his ethics!

I received a message from Keiran about a missed delivery and to follow the link, I tried ringing the number the msg was sent from and it doesn't exist! I got the msg on 14-03-2022.

  • March 16, 2022 at 5:36 AM by an anonymous user from: Reading, England, United Kingdom

I received the same message yesterday from 07895154664 'Kieran tried to deliver your shipment today, but no one was home. To re-organise a new date for this, please visit: https://local-depot-gb.co.uk'

I am waiting for parcels but had heard there was a scam going around regarding this so luckily did not go on the link.

  • March 15, 2022 at 12:43 PM by an anonymous user from: E2, London, England, United Kingdom

I stopped once it asked for £1.45 and my card details. However before that I supplied my name, address, and date of birth. What is the scam risk for me?

    • March 15, 2022 at 3:29 PM by info

Just be careful going forward because they will contact you and attempt to scam you.

  • March 15, 2022 at 11:33 AM by info

Received today - Kieran tried to deliver your shipment today, but no one was home. To re-organise a new date for this, please visit:https://local-depot-gb.co.uk

The phone number this came from was - 447526411770

As I scrolled through the pages to arrange a redelivery (I am expecting several deliveries), I was prompted to provide my postcode, full name, delivery address, and email address, then the next page occures, stating that the item is found, and the status is in transit, it then askes for date o birth and mobile phone number befor you have to hit the continue button, then a dropdown menu asks for a new delivery address, it then tells you the redelivery charge is £1.45, and askes you to input all your card details.

For what it's worth, I got as far as the card details page before I became suspicious and stopped, I then rang the number to complain about the Post Office trying to charge for redelivery, all I got was a Tesco answering service, still thinking I was dealing with the Post Office, I left my name and address asking them to call back and explain.

A few minuites after hanging up I, the penny dropped, and I checked on line and found this site, at least I did not give my card details, but they got everything else, the site pages were very convincing, and had I not been expecting deliverys, I like to think I would not have been so easily taken in!

Happened the same to me today, I provided my date of birth, address and phone but then I stopped. I am always very aware of these type of things but today they caught me off guard because I am waiting few packages and I was out of the house. I did not provide any bank details, am I safe? What should I expect?

I filled in my name, address, date of birth and phone number but when I saw the request for payment I became suspicious and stopped. What repercussions can I expect?
