Scammers are sending the "Holding This 4 You" package scam text message below to potential victims from 772-262-2042 with a link to the phishing website holdingthis4you.com. The scam text message claims recipients have a package containing a product called 1.v11 Dyson that cannot be delivered unless the outstanding tax balance is paid. Recipients are then asked to click a link to the phishing website(holding this 4 you.com), which will take them to a phishing or fake USPS website that will ask them to make payment.
Your track (#US499923) which includes the following products: 1.v11 Dyson. Cannot be approved for delivery pending your outstanding tax have been paid. Current outstanding balance: $1.32. Additional info holdingthis4you.com/adatxl
If the requested payment information is submitted on the phishing website, it will be sent to the scammers, who will use it fraudulently. Therefore, if you have been tricked into submitting your financial information by the same scam, please contact your bank for help.

I received a text from (786)224-9289 falsely saying they had a Samsung tv, YJL8276S pending paying a $1.02 tax. Wanttopickupnow.comHope this helps. I did not respond and deleted message
I received a text message from 1 (646) 627-6572 falsely claiming that my parcel # YJL8876S containing1.v11 Dyson couldn't be delivered etc. etc. etc. Here's hoping that this info is helpful you another's in detecting and removing this scam--

I also got this scam from the same phone number - 772-262-2042 and also from 772-262-2092 with a link to itemisinwaiting.com link
Delivery Pending: Hello, your package with tracking # 71623881LX2 is waiting for you to confirm the shipment address: holdingthis4you.com/bdj5ad
Also received the "holdingthis4you" message from 646-627-6572 just after midnight (12:23 AM). Wary Consumer in Brooklyn, NY.

Receiving these at 571 area code. They send multiple text messages. Scammers.
