The scam texts will claim recipients' bill has been paid for March and they will get a free Apple Watch Series 7 as an additional gift. The scam texts will appear to have been sent from the recipients' telephone numbers, in other words, it will appear as if it was sent from their telephone numbers. A Verizon Text ScamFree Msg: Your bill is paid for March. Thanks, here's a little gift for you: zcxvv2 .com /eGM..The scam attempts to trick recipients into clicking the link in it by claiming they will get a gift. But, the link in the Verizon text scam goes to a phishing website that steals account credentials, personal and financial information.If you were tricked into clicking the link and asked to sign in with your account credentials, please change your passwords.
