Scammers are sending the Ofgem rebate scam email below to potential victims. The scam email claims recipients are eligible for a £200 rebate on electricity and a £500 rebate on Council Tax which isn't repayable. But, the email is not from Ofgem. It is an attempt to gather banking and personal details, which the scammers will use fraudulently.
