Is Homeaglow a Scam or Legitimate Cleaning Service? Home Categories Community-Review Is Homeaglow a Scam or Legitimate Cleaning Service? 3 3 160 0 2y ago 2023-10-21T18:05:09-05:00 2y ago 2023-10-22T08:34:02-05:00 Online Threat Alerts I paid for 6 hours of cleaning with Homeaglow at homeaglow.com, which was over $130 extra on top of signing up for a 6 month membership that they make you agree to, just to try their services. The cleaner didn’t do a few of the extra things I paid the extra for, so I’m out of that money because Homeaglow makes you get the refund or even partial refund from the cleaner themselves. I don’t know if their system didn’t alert her to what I wanted or why they’re not covering it since they’re the company. They refuse to let me out of my 6 month membership without paying $290 extra for the cleaning that didn’t clean everything I wanted. I don’t want to take from a cleaner because that’s her livelihood. This company is garbage and I’m stuck with them for 6 months.I’ll be using as minimal services as possible until I can get out of this. Don’t do it. Just use a service like Molly Maid or hire independently from another site. Trust me. It’s nothing amazing. Not worth it. Check the comment section below for answers or additional information. Cleaner won't get paid until you review them, every time! The commercial of $19 for whole house is an absolute lie, for $19 they will work 4 man-hours, nowhere near enough to do laundry, clean dishes, clean windows, and clean the house like their commercial clearly states. My cleaner was good, Homeaglow is a company without good ethics and morals. Just a money-grab taking advantage of cleaners who need work.an anonymous userhttps://www.onlinethreatalerts.com/users/#an-anonymous-userOct 21, 2023 at 6:17 PM by Is Homeaglow a Scam or Legitimate Cleaning Service?an anonymous user from: New York, New York, United StatesScam. 1. The offer states that a $49/month membership entitles you to discounted hourly rates and presents a $17 or $18/hr rate. But after you sign up and book first appointment, you learn that, in addition to the discounted hourly rate, they also charge and additional $5/hr and a 15% booking fee that massively increases the charge. 2. The website only allows you to "Cancel" by clicking on an agreement to pay $277 on top of what you already paid for the first cleaning. 3. It is impossible to contact the company. If they charge any additional amounts to my credit card, I have no choice but to treat it as an unauthorized charge and change my credit card number.an anonymous userhttps://www.onlinethreatalerts.com/users/#an-anonymous-userOct 21, 2023 at 6:14 PM by Is Homeaglow a Scam or Legitimate Cleaning Service?an anonymous user from: Boston, Massachusetts, United StatesHome a Glow misrepresents it’s service and has absolutely no customer service other than e-mail. What business operates like that? Do not use this service, they will lock you into paying for things you don’t want. The cleaners are not vetted. Customer service is non existent.
