I called the number on the charge and "Sébastien" said I had paid to enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a Le Creuset set. I told him the advertisement is a fraud and to cancel my so-called "subscription" unless they wanted me to contact the Federal Trade Commission. He said he couldn't refund the $8.95 but he quickly agreed to cancel and assured me I would not receive any further charges. At least it was a fairly cheap lesson this time. Don’t let them TAKE YOUR $8.95, they’re getting filthy rich off of this scam and far too many people are far too trusting and even more naive, never questioning their legitimacy until it’s way too late and they have lost major amounts of cash.
