Joivi Patio Furniture Scam Text Message

Scammers are sending "Joivi Patio Furniture" scam text messages like the ones below to potential victims. The aim of the scam text messages is to frighten and trick potential victims into calling scammers. If contacted, the scammers will ask potential victims to disclose their credit card or banking information. They will claim they need it in order to stop the fraudulent transaction, but this is not true. If potential victims give the scammers their information, it will be used fraudulently. Therefore, recipients are asked not to follow the instructions in the "Lilola Home Sofa" scam texts.

    Knew it was a scam 1)hadn’t purchased any patio furniture 2) hadn’t received text from credit card company of a purchase from this command this amount 3)came from a Minnesota number 4)number to call wasn’t my credit card company. Why oh why do people keep falling for these scams AND do many others.
