Scammers are posting fake news messages on social media websites with the iPhone scam warning messages below, claiming the US Government is warning the public about a bank emptying or credit card stealing text. The aim of the messages is to frighten and trick potential victims into clicking the links in them, thinking they are from legitimate news websites. But, the links go to spam and phishing websites that trick potential victims into buying unwanted products/services or stealing their account credentials, personal or financial information.
