Moonton Account Scam Email Account Setting Modification

I got a Moonton email from donotreply@register-sc.moonton.com claiming someone tried to change my account settings and sent a verification code. The thing is, I do not have an account with any Moonton game. Is this some type of phishing Moonton scam or what?

I received the same email. However, I don’t have a Moonton account. I’ve never heard of this company.

I got the same email this morning from the US IP address and same email address. I don’t know what a moonton account is either!

I honestly think it's a scam. Got that email. Same IP. Same information. Seen quite a few others reporting this. Seems scammy.

The email appears to be legit. The domain is legit, although the email can be spoofed. There are no links to click, only an OTP for 2FA authentication.
