Apple Pay Text Scam Support Number

I just received a text that identified as Apple Pay verifying a charge to my Apply Pay credit card and asking me to call if I didn’t make the purchase. They told me there were multiple changes that looked suspicious and wanted me to download an app from the App Store. I hung up and called Apple CS via a number found on the Internet.
