The phishing email message, which appears as if it was sent by Woolworths and asking recipients to fill out a survey in order to receive a $50 credit to their accounts, was created by scammers to trick the recipients into sending them their financial and personal information. The recipients of the phishing email should delete it and not respond to the survey under any circumstances. Woolworths said they would never ask their customers for their personal or banking details in an unsolicited email. Therefore, recipients of the phishing email message, who have submitted their credit card information via the fake surveys, are asked to let their banks know that they have unknowingly entered their credit card information on a phishing website.The Fake and Phishing Woolworths Survey EmailCongratulations!You have been selected by Woolworths Online Department to take part in our quick and easy reward survey.In return we will credit $50 to your account - Just for your time!Helping us better understand how our members feel, benefits everyone.With the information collected we can decide to direct a number of changes to improve and expand our services.The information you provide us is all non-sensitive and anonymous.
