Smushgame is an Untrustworthy Content Streaming Website
Smushgame is an Untrustworthy Content Streaming Website

Smushgame located at www.smushgame.com is a fraudulent one. The website, which claims it will deliver all your favorite movies, music, and games across all your favorite platforms, is similar to the fraudulent websites: www.geeker.com, lilplay.com and tzarmedia.com. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website, run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have cancelled their subscriptions.

They (smushgame.com) claim not to charge your credit card for the trial period but will do so anyway, even if you cancel before the trial period is up. Also, they will charge you to cancel your free registration, and will periodically charge your credit card for an undetermined of money. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books, and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.

Online user who have already subscribed to smushgame, are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

I just want to mention that they have a sub-website first, pdfsu.online for downloading textbooks, etc, and then when they ask you to register for free trial, you goto smushgame.com! So please watch out, and include pdfsu.online also in your list.

Hey guys, you are right about Smushgame.com. It is a fraudulent website. I was told that no fees would be charged for free 5 days subscription. And I was charged US13 which is even higher amount than their advertised one-month subscription.

When I asked about it, they cancelled my subscription straightaway. Now the question I would like to ask is to whom can I report about this website. Is the local police and/or IC3 an option ?

Thanks

Hello,

From credit card account was also debited money. Since I use my calculator alone, I know that I have never clicked on this page. The bank wraps itself in silence and I'm out of my money. What can I do, you have to be able to put these people to work.

Hey, I just realized that my credit card has been charged with 40,75 Euros (49,95 US Dollars) since August 2017 by smushgame. Probably one of my children crossed the website coincidentally- can you help me with advice, is there any way to get the money refunded? I blocked my credit card so future fraud will not be possible.
Thanks.

Attention smushgame.com and kickplay.com; since both are probably related and unlawfully pass on data with each other.

I never had anything to do with both companies. Still, they could charge my credit card. Will refund criminal charges.

The best way to stop the transactions that are going to your credit card is to contact your provider have them cancel your card and reissue you a new card. They will do so immediately and that will prevent future charges to your account. Unfortunately there does not seem to be any way to get a refund for what you have already been charged.

The lesson here seems to be before signing up for anything even when they claim free trail for a certain period as long as you cancel, research by googling the website name and guaranteed you will see if they have been know to be a fraud.

Same here, seen a charge on my card this morning and I've never even heard of these crooks! How do they even get random people's details?

by an anonymous user from: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

HI Team,

Exactly what happened to me, went to look for movies and found almost 100% gaming site, which is not me. Stupidly I had given them my details and did not use the site. Then only months later found out that they had been charging me $60AUD for Smushgame and an additional $40AUD for another site GR8Musik which has exactly the same look and feel as Smushgame and I had never visited. Both clearly fraudulent transactions and were happening for a number of months before I picked it up.

Can you go to the bank and ask them to cancel your automatic payments to them?... I always use a Debit Card when signing up for anything online... that way I can deposit the amount in there only and they can only take what is in there...

You will have to ask them. I think using a credit card is more secure.

You cannot unsubscribe. Just contact your bank and have them cancel the transactions and refund your money. You may also need to cancel your current card to prevent them from further charging it.
