I have seen people on WhatsApp sharing the message below, which claims that they should not call or text 876-619-5000. The message then goes on to say that the reason is very serious and the recipients should pass the same message on to everyone in their contact book. But, after researching the number, we found out that 876-619-5000 is Digicel Jamaica's corporate number used only for outbound calls.

Digicel is a mobile phone network provider operating in 31 markets across the Caribbean, Central America, and Oceania regions.

Therefore, recipients should ignore fake WhatsApp or other social media messages saying that they should not answer calls from nor text 18766195000.
