"We are aware of social messages that are currently circulating claiming that Adidas is giving away free footwear and would like to caution the public about believing this, as it is definitely a scam," said a representative from Adidas. The scam tricks social media users into sending their personal information to the cybercriminals behind the scam by promising them a chance to win a free pair of Adidas shoes.
