The "US Postal Service Notification" Phishing Scam

I received this today in my junk email. I believe it is a scam email:
GOOD NEWS,

United States Postal Service, Postal service company (USPS) We have
been waiting for you to contact us for your parcel that has been
registered with us By IMF for shipment to your residential address. We
thought that the sender gave you our contact details. It may interest
you to know that a
letter is also added to your parcel.
However, we cannot quote the content to you via email for privacy
reasons. We understand that the content of your parcel itself is a
money order worth $100,000.00 US Dollars), $100,000.00 US Dollars for
each money order copy all in (2) two Parcel, Text me urgently with
your address full name, and email address, including your phone number
and your valid ID too .

I would like to have an email address to send a same email I received yesterday saying you are holding a check for me. I just want to forward the email to someone who knows what to do with it! They use Mr. DeJoy's name, title an address.

Just got a e-mail from supposedly the United States Postal Service Notification your parcel arrived July 28, 2020. Courier was unable to deliver the parcel to you. Click here. I don't trust this because I did receive 2 packages that was expecting and I am not expecting anything else. Feel this is a Scam, Marilyn..
