705-716-4812 Telephone Scam Calls

Hello, I received 2 calls in one day from telephone number 705-716-4812. The caller was very aggressive and arrogant. Also got "Canadian Treasury" auto message to warn me that if I don't return the call I will have to appear in front of a magistrate judge or grand jury for a federal criminal offense. The message threatens that it is the final attempt to reach me but unfortunately continues to leave voicemails, despite me blocking the number.

    I just received threat call from 705-716-4812...claiming multiple previous contact attempts.

    Googled the # and here we are.

    Have blocked the #, any advice from y'all will be much appreciated.

    We must spread / share threat.

    well, apparently I have made some mistakes over the last few years on my income tax and now there is a warrant out for my arrest. I calmly said why is there a warrant, I'm willing to pay I just need to know where I made the mistake on the forms and I will pay you. They keep hanging up. I would like to know a good way to prevent these people from taking advantage of people like my mother... it is sad they prey on the elderly and immigrants who don't know how the CRA works.

    I got two calls over the last two days. I just retired from an Ontario police service. If they want money I can certainly meet them at my former police station to make payment. LOL.

    My Father received an aggressive call from this number, Saying that he was in trouble for fraud several years ago and owed just under $6000. They threatened him with an arrest and prison.

    I received a call and called back. The gentleman said his name was Office Victor Harris from the CRA. I told him I also worked at the CRA and he hung up on me.

    I got the same phone call twice from 705-716-4812. It was the identical "Canadian Treasury" auto message. The tone was threatening, much like what was described above.

    Got two calls two from this number and they are claiming they are CRA. They are fraud. There is very good documentary available on Youtube to expose these people. Who are these people and how are they doing fraud in the name of CRA while taking money from people. Never provide your information to them but first ask them, which number they are calling for, can they provide your number name or address etc. You will immediately learn that they are fake people.

    I called them back.. told them it was the RCMP investigating this number and the complaints associated with it. Indicated that the RCMP has issued a WARRANT for Arrest to the business associated with this spoofed number... original IP address is from India... so they hung up very quickly and I have not received another call from them and it has been 5 days now... they had previously called me 3 to 4 times a day..

    I received several calls from this number. The caller named himself Jayson Devlin (employee ID# 453751 and claimed to ba an agent of the CRA. He made several threats of Impressonment job loss, deportation, etc, etc...

    This number has called me twice so far today; left one message stating that I need to appear in front of a judge. The message was also garbled and very hard to understand (not an accent, just the quality of the message).

    I received the same call from 705-716-4812, with the same threatening message about a criminal matter. I live in B.C. Scammers are getting more and more creative.

    I ditto the same experience with the blogger. Please note CRA has repeatedly announced there is NO phone call ever from there side. Kindly ignore calls of such nature!
