Online Threat Alerts (OTA) - Alerting you to scams and frauds.
Scammers are sending Regions Bank scam text messages to potential victims asking them to call 8064191755 and other 806 area code telephone numbers. The scam text messages contain "regions-bank-mobile-alert-186@region.com", which will make potential victims think they are legit, but that is a fake Regions Bank email address. The fake text messages will claim that an unusual transaction has been detected on the recipient's card so it has been temporarily locked. The recipient is then instructed to call 806-419-1755 or other 806 area code telephone numbers for help.
But, if the fake telephone numbers are called, the recipients of the scams text messages will end up talking to scammers who will attempt to trick them into disclosing their account credentials, personal and financial information, which they will use fraudulently.

Rec'd txt message from Bnaking.Mobile.Alerts-vdt60cmb-alerts.com saying call 806-419-1755 immediately. Googled that number in and came up here. did not reply deleted txt. thanks.
I received a text from email address: bank-mobile-alert-932-vservice.com The text was:(Call: 8064191755 Now-932#) VISA-Card-temporarily-locked-ID:DT0NRbWhen I googled the number it brought me to this site and others warning that it is a SCAM. I blocked the email address and did not call or click on the number.Received 7/24/2022 - 6:15pm and I live around Chicago, IL.

Received a text that my Visa card was temporarily locked IDqrsfme3nI called and got a recording saying my debit card was temporarily locked and to enter my 17 digit number, I hung up.
I just received it. It came from bank-mobile-alert866-vservice.com
I also received a scam text message from 8064191755 stating that my visa card was temporarily-locked. When I called the number, a recording asked me to put in my 16-digit card number. I did not.
I got a text from number 8064191755 about a Visa card that they said they locked. I don't have a Visa card.
806-419-1755 Is a scam. They said my VISA bank card is locked out. It was not locked out. They wanted me to call back probably to get private and personal information. IT’S A SCAM!!

Received same text: call 806-419-1755 Visa Card temporarily locked IDnLGzNQI called and got a recording about my debit card (I don't have or use one) and was voiced prompted to press #1 or #2 ...... I hung up at that point.
same, got a text from bank-mobile-alert-221-vservice.com saying to call 806*419*1755, I did call and the first thing they asked was my card number.... I hung up.

I just received the same text with the same phone number as listed in the above posts. What is most worrisome is that I received this text about 5- minutes after downloading my bank's app (different bank) from the Google app store. This really worries me because this scam's software has to be monitoring the app store or the app because I don't believe in coincidences'! Someone less trusting may easily fall for this scam when it arrives as mine did! Scammers are scum and should be eliminated!!!

Txt sent to my cell phone telling me to call 8064291755 to unlock my card. Called number just for kicks (knew it was fraudulent) and recording asked me to put debit card number in due to card being locked. Glad I’m smart enough not to fall for this obvious scam! Heads up people, don’t fall for this scam! Unfortunately, criminals like this prey on unsuspecting people that give them their debit card info. Hope they get caught and prosecuted!!!!!
