"1520 Gary Road LLC" PayPal Scam

• The Notification: You receive a legitimate-looking email from PayPal stating that "1520 Gary Road LLC" has sent you an invoice or that your account has been charged for a high-value item (often a "Bitcoin" purchase or a "Home Security" subscription).
• The Hook: The email often includes a "Note from seller" with a fake customer support phone number. They want you to panic about the charge and call that number.
• The Trap: If you call, scammers will try to trick you into providing your login credentials, credit card details, or downloading remote-access software to "cancel" the transaction.

What You Should Do

• Do Not Call the Number: Never call a phone number listed in an invoice note. Scammers use the official PayPal notification system to send these, so the email itself looks "real," but the content is fraudulent.
• Check Your Activity: Log in to your PayPal account directly through the official website or app. If you see a "Pending" invoice or "Money Request," do not pay it.
• Cancel the Request: If there is an unpaid invoice or money request from this entity in your activity, you can simply select it and click Cancel or Delete.
