Unlike all the people who are commenting on the savings club, I'm not aware that I ordered anything to do with these people, but having checked my bank account there is a debit of £49.23. Obviously, I will now contact my bank and hope they can sort it out.

Thanks everyone for all your comments.

Ordered an item that was “free”, other than £4:00 delivery which seemed fair. Was then charged £6:00 for an item I did not want and when contacted they replied that it was too late as the order/items had been posted. 6 weeks later, nothing. Not the item I wanted, nor the one I didn’t want. I then noticed that the same company had taken a further £50:00!

When I spoke to the bank they advised that this company had set up a direct debit to take money from my account each month. A dreadful scam, do no use!

    Received via email:

"Hello, I'm Maori woman from little Ole Gisborne, New Zealand. And I've just been scammed from "epic savings club" it took my last $80 from my account that I never agreed to. I'm humble and I guess gullible person but I am not rich, I'm on a benefit for my 3 children living week by week. Trying to do everything I can for my family.

And then something like this happens to me when I never expected it, wasn't planned either. I went to do my shopping today & was declined? How embarrassing 😢 All I want to say is that me & family didn't deserve what has happened to us today?"

  • July 5, 2018 at 6:53 AM by an anonymous user from: Hemel Hempstead, England, United Kingdom

I tried to purchase goods from them which never arrived. They then started taking money from my account initially the same as the product I purchased but the they quadrupled the amount after refunding some of the money they had previously taken.

Their company name is also different to the one I tried to buy from.

The bank can’t refund the money because they claim there is small print that’s allows this fraudulent company to take regular payments. Please Beware people DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
