iPhone COVID-19 Lotto Scam: Beware

There is not "iPhone COVID-19 Lotto," therefore, recipients of messages claiming they are winners in the same lottery are asked not to follow the instructions in them. The fake lottery has been created by lottery scammers to trick their potential victims into sending them. The scammers will claim their potential victims need to send them money in order to collect their so-called prize. But, if the money is sent, the scammers will take it and disappear, and the victims will not receive the prizes they were promised and will be hundreds or thousands of dollars poorer.

      Just be careful going forward because the scammers will attempt to use the information you have sent to scam you, but they can only do this if you take their bait.
