Online Threat Alerts (OTA) - Alerting you to scams and frauds.
I received the Royal Mail Parcel scam text message below. The fake text is being sent by scammers who are attempting to trick recipients into clicking on a phishing link in it disguised as royalmail.com. But, the link goes to a fake or phishing Royal Mail website that steals personal and credit card information. Therefore, recipients are asked not to follow the instructions in it.
Royal Mail: Your package has a £2.99 shipping fee, to pay this now visit hxxps://royalmail-shipping.support. Actions will be taken if you do not pay this fee.
