Is crawfordlaws.com a Scam or is it Legit? Crawford Law Office
Is crawfordlaws.com a Scam or is it Legit? Crawford Law Office

Can anyone tell me if Crawford Law Office located at crawfordlaws.com is a scam or not? The website's address or domain name is only 30 days old, which makes it new. And, they are using a P.O for their physical address. I am assuming they have no physical address so there is no way to visit their office.

We are the (real) law firm whose name and address were stolen.
This is a total scam.
We have spoken to hundred of people and received tens of faxes and letters.
We have reported this to the local Police and encourage you to do the same.
Given that the scam is international and the scammers are likely to be in a third country somewhere on the globe, the chances of tracking this down are limited.

Please ignore any such correspondence.

Just got the same fax letter. Glad I was able to find this website to confirm. First time getting a scam via fax. Scam innovation.

SCAM! Check the Nunavut Law Society, which is their bar association and no such attorney is listed.

https://www.lawsociety.nu.ca/en/for-the-public/membership-directory?name=&page=2

There is an Anne Crawford listed, and it appears they have used her address. I sent her an email.

If we can find the person, there is a junk fax law with $500.00 per fax in damages. Would be a nice class action

I am a lawyer in Dayton, Ohio. Received a fax from "George Crawford" at Crawford Law Office today requesting "partnership" to claim more than $13,000,000 in unclaimed life insurance proceeds. I recognized this immediately as a scam, but nevertheless went to the website on the letterhead, crawfordlaws.com. It looks legit until you notice that the website was created in 2021 and click on the "Wills Writing" tab, where the copy was obviously cut and pasted from Peter W. Martin, LLP's website. I'm turning the letter over to the FBI.

We just got this at the corporation I work for and I went to look the "lawyer" up on the CBA's website and the one in Nunavut, and he is not a registered attorney. This is ridiculous. Scammers will do anything to get money out of people.

Scam. Good looking website and fax but a total fabrication. My long-lost relative died and had millions just waiting for me to collect if I "partner" with the law firm to access the money.

I got the same letter to my company's fax number. It's scary that they research your name, find out where you work and they fax these letters to your office. There's no hiding on the Internet... LinkedIn shows your name and employer and from there it's easy to contact you.

There is 100% a scam out there using this name and address. Offers of hidden estate funds are NOT legitimate , the phone number does not match the address given.

They have stolen a legitimate name and address amd attached a scamster website, and phone numbers which will lead you eventually to demands for you to pay “taxes” or “fees” up front in your “inheritance”.

Do NOT respond to or deal with these scam artists.

Seems like a scam to me. We just received a fax from them about an unknown family member of ours who died nine years ago and apparently left $13 million. It does not seem legit to me.
