If you receive the email message below claiming that you can get a loan and ask that you reply with your personal information, please ignore or delete it because it is a scam. The email appears as if it came from email address GlobalFinance.ouvidoria@macae.rj.gov.br but, has the "reply to" email address globafinance80@gmail.com. Most of the time, when the sender's email address is different from the "reply to" email address it is a phishing scam.

In this email message, the scammers want you to believe that the email came from macae.rj.gov.br. They do this to trick you into believing that the e-mail is legitimate by using a technique called email spoofing. Now, if you reply to this email message, your information will be sent to email address globafinance80@gmail.com and not to the email address at macae.rj.gov.br from where the email appeared to have been sent from.
Avoid sending your information to anyone that request it from free e-mail address providers like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo and other free e-mail providers. Everyone can create an e-mail address at anyone of these free e-mail providers and use it for scamming.
