Do Not Call 580-649-7177 - it is Being Used by Lottery Scammers

The telephone number 580-649-7177 is currently being used by lottery scammers to send fake lottery notifications to their potential victims. The fake notifications ask potential victims to contact the scammers in order to receive their so-called lottery winnings or prize.

The scammers are currently using 580-649-7177 to send lottery scamming notifications to potential victims but may ask the potential victims to call the same number.

Sample of a Lottery Scam Text Message From (972) 505-1200

"Gmail Lottery 580-649-7177: You ave announced winner of $500,000 with Apple Laptop By Gmail Inc, Contact llto@gmaillotto.com with your jame, mailing address."

Now, if the telephone number (580-649-7177) is called, the callers will get an automated message or a person asking them for their account credentials, personal information, including their social security numbers, bank account numbers, or other information the cybercriminals need in order to gain access to their potential victims’ accounts, steal their money and use their accounts fraudulently.

Persons who were tricked into giving out their banking information are asked to contact their banks for help, change the password of their online accounts, and contact their local authority if they gave out other sensitive information.

    Like a fool I gave them my name and address but no other information. I hope they cannot do to much damage with that information.

    I am just glad that I was able to look up the phone number through this website, thank you for the information.
