This is because the fake email, which claims the recipients must complete ownership confirmation to verify and re-validate ownership and securely upgrade to a more secure platform is a phishing scam. The scam has been created by cybercriminals to trick their potential victims into clicking on the link in the email, which takes them to a phishing website that will ask them to sign-in.
