Online users who have received the "Please verify account to continue" email message below are asked to delete it. This is because the fake email, which claims the recipients must complete ownership confirmation to verify and re-validate ownership and securely upgrade to a more secure platform is a phishing scam. The scam has been created by cybercriminals to trick their potential victims into clicking on the link in the email, which takes them to a phishing website that will ask them to sign-in.

But, any attempts to sign-in will result in the visitors' email account credentials (username and password) being sent to the cybercriminals behind the scam.
