Bank Of America Text Scam: Call (866)338-3597

I received a bogus Bank of America text message from telephone number 1(410) 100-004, disguised to look like a US phone number. The fake message claims I should call telephone number 866-338-3597. My friend also said she received similar messages asking her to call the same number, but the messages she received claimed her Bank of America account has been closed or suspended. And, instead of calling the fake BofA number, she called them directly and they told her account is active and 866-338-3597 is a fake number.
