Recipients of the PCR Track and Trace scam text below from 07928469692 that goes to the website: nhs.local-depot-help.com, are asked not to click the link in it. The scam text, which claims recipients have recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Omicron, is being sent by cybercriminals who are attempting to frighten and trick their potential victims into visiting the fake and phishing NHS website that steals personal and financial information.

If you have received the PCR Track and Trace scam text message, please delete it. Do not click the link in it. If you have already been tricked by the scam text and have submitted a financial information on the fake and phishing website you were taken to after clicking the link in it, please contact your bank for help.

Same text received from 447845002657 implying origin was from outside the UK. Clicking on the https://nhs.local-depot-help.com link from my Android Galaxy phone produced the response "This site can't provide a secure connection. nhs.local-depot-help.com sent an invalid response."Hopefully, this will alert recipients to the fact that it's a scam.
