Scamming - Fraud
The website "www.owlplayz.com" is a fraudulent one. The website which claims it will deliver all your favorite movies, music, and games across all your favorite platforms, is similar to the fraudulent websites: www.geeker.com, lilplay.com and tzarmedia.com. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website, run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have cancelled their subscriptions.
They (owlplayz.com) claim not to charge your credit card for the trial period, but will do so anyway, even if you cancel before the trial period is up. Also, they will charge you to cancel your free registration, and will periodical charge your credit card for an undertermined of money. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.
Online user who have already subscribed to owlplayz.com, are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

Two months since they have been taking $69 each time out of my account.
Someone fraudulently used my credit card to sign up for Owlplayz.com.How did that person find my card and my email address without me knowing it.It feels like a violation. I have cancelled my card. I spoke to a rep from the company and he was less than helpful.
Same here, however ABNAMRO bank in The Netherlands still doesn't know them. 50 Euros stolen from me and the bank says they can continue for eternity doing this.Bert

Absolutely a scam!Couldnt find any way to contact / stop payment (AND I didnt even sign up to trial ... I just looked, changed my mind before finalising anything)Decided this was a bad idea and what do you know... Money was taken from my account even though I cancelled before accepting anything. Another one to watch for is www.247playz.comThey appeared at the same time.. dont even recall looking at that lot, but they also took money!Cancelled card!
These are scam sites. It has hit Canada too. I check my bank statement every month & noticed they took out $69.00. I went to bank and changed my debit card to a new one to stop them stealing $$ out. SCAM! SCAM!

You cannot trust them to cancel. Therefore, contact your bank and dispute the charges to have your money refunded. Then cancel your card and get a new one to stop them from continuously charging him.
