Post High Quality Content
Instagram is all about visual content, so you need to make sure to post relevant, high-quality images and videos. You can also share links to blog posts or other websites that are related to your product or industry. Just make sure you don't over-post!
You should be posting at least several times a week on Instagram, but it's best if this is an ongoing process for the life of your business. There's no better way to get people interested in what you have going than by getting them hooked with consistent updates about who you are and what you do every day!
If everything feels forced when it comes out of your mouth - whether through text or video - then there will be issues with how viewers perceive both yourself as well as your product/services. It's always better to be real and genuine about who you are as a person, your business goals, etc.
Learn The Instagram Algorithm
There's no way around it: if you want to be successful on Instagram, then knowing how the algorithm works is a must. It determines what shows up in your feed and when - so learning just some of this information will give you a leg up over those who haven't done their research at all!
Boost Your Content with Likes and Views
You can boost your own posts on Instagram so that more people will see it. The reason you want to do this is because photos and videos with higher engagement tend to show up first in hashtags searches - which means potentially way more likes, views and followers! You'll need a budget for this, though: the bigger the post-boost, the better; unless of course there are specific angles or other factors you want to focus on. You can also use social media services like Gramlike for this, however it's probably better to use Facebook's own advertising platform to boost your posts.
Take Advantage of Instagram Reels
Instagram Reels is a new feature on Instagram that allows users to upload videos as well as photos. They can be up to one minute in length, and they are going over fairly well with the Instagram community given that it's a newer feature - so why not give it a shot? They’ve apparently been getting a lot of saves on Instagram.
Get Niche Specific
The more niche you are, generally speaking, the easier time you're going to have marketing yourself on Instagram because there is less competition for your products/services. There will always be someone selling something similar somewhere out there - but if you pick an extremely specific market like "dog grooming services," then chances are those who offer such things already know about each other!
