I usually consider myself fairly careful, but this one got by me. I've disputed the charges through PayPal and hoping that will be the end of it. I really despise a thief. Will update when Paypal makes a decision.

This site is a fraud. They took my money through PayPal then entered a tracking number stating I received the goods before I even ordered them. PayPal denied my claim stating a tracking number showing they were delivered was given to PayPal. I am now in contact with the USPS and have reported a cybercrime. Save yourself all the headaches do not order from this site

I realized too late that their prices were too good to be true. I'm trying to stop a payment. Paypal won't do it even though their help site says you can cancel a pending payment. I've emailed the company to stop the order. If they don't respond I'll have to go through my bank. I'm disappointed that Paypal says I have to wait until the payment clears and then go through their red tape. What a hassle.

I reported the site to Birkenstocks directly and here is their response:

Thank you for reaching out to us at Birkenstock USA.

Some things to watch out for when ordering from these types of websites include improper grammar and spelling, as well as discounted products, or products shipped from other countries. Birkenstock USA never discounts our product, and we only ship within the USA.

In the future, I suggest you order directly from our website, www.birkenstock.com, as we offer free shipping and free returns on all orders.

We appreciate you letting us know about this situation and will pass this information on to our legal team. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance to you.

    Best regards,

    Elizabeth
